A loose cooperative

omuzai isn't a company with a headcount. It's a banner that a small group of independent builders, designers and artists work under when something calls for more than one of us.

  1. Assembled, not staffed.

    Work is put together from the people it actually needs. No bench to keep busy, no roles to fill for the sake of it.

  2. Everyone keeps their own practice.

    Nobody here is an employee. People arrive with their own clients, projects and standards, and take them away again.

  3. The banner is the through-line.

    What holds it together is a shared bar for craft. Not a payroll, an office, or a logo on a slide.

So far that's produced two tools for creators: untrainable.art and DuckPDF.
